Booked For The Greek Islands This Summer Lefkada Island And More

So excited! We have just booked our summer season vacation and we're going subsequent month already! 2 full weeks of solar, seaside, island and rest... Nicely, some subculture and neighborhood cuisine as properly.

A sneak preview of Lefkada.

For several years now on the row, Dutchman and I were going to the Greek Islands for our summer time holidays. We experience very much at home here inside the islands, and this 12 months we've got chosen the adorable piece of island paradise this is Lefkada, a part of the Ionian Group of Islands positioned between Italy and Greece.

The Dutch mom goes with us so it's going to be a Three's Company =)

Our apartment is placed in a very excellent area and I cannot wait to be finding out the outlying island of Meganisi and possibly we are able to go on a day cruise to the smaller islands as properly, Kastos and Kalamos. We may also be driving into mainland Greece and travelling Preveza that is part of the Epirus area. In truth we can be arriving/touchdown in Preveza. The satisfactory thing with Lefkada is that it's miles linked to mainland Greece via a highway. Ah, long stay civil engineering.

Lefkada (or Lefkas) is positioned simply beside mainland Greece. Last 12 months we went to Kefalonia and Ithaca islands, placed just below Lefkada.
