Kefalonia, Greece Greek Mixed Grill At Grill House Ainos In Lixouri

Our evening in Lixouri was spent having dinner at Grill House Ainos Taverna on Plateia Petritsi, the primary rectangular of Lixouri city.

I haven’t had meat in numerous days so I advised to the Dutchman that we can cross for a Greek Mixed Grill for the nighttime’s dinner. He thankfully obliged, afterall he loves his meat. Men are carnivores, I mean tell me who isn’t?

To stability the meal we ordered a complementary sparkling Greek Salad as a facet dish. The waitress requested us if we want it as a starter or to go with the combined grill and we stated the latter. Most traditional Greek restaurants in the islands provide the combined grill meat choice of their trendy menus. They are typically served with sauces (tzatziki, yoghurt base) and warm oven-toasted pita bread.

As we look forward to the meals to reach we had been entertained by means of fired up younger boys gambling more or less with their BMX bikes on the rectangular. I became a touch bit worried that they might give way the ground and smash their teeth or limbs. Or crash the tables. Rather, crash proper into us. Fortunately, that did not manifest.

The entire meal become quite excellent. Dutchman and I managed to wipe our plates smooth and that could be a properly sign. This changed into as nicely the most less costly meal we have ever had in the course of the complete holiday! So that could be a 2 thumbs up in our e-book =)

Because we did no longer want to miss our ferry returned to Argostoli, we settled our coffee at a exclusive cafe restaurant that has a good view of the harbour. From our seats we are able to see the ferry arriving and leaving. There is no way we will omit our boat ride. We were not in a rush as properly because the vibe on the square turned into exceptional and the temperature changed into adorable so we decided to take the 23:00 hours ferry agenda (the ultimate one!) returned to Argostoli.

We loved very an awful lot our time here in the Paliki peninsula. We spent our afternoon at Xi Beach and visited Lepeda Beach and Vatsa Bay as well, and to wrap the day journey, the dinner right here in Lixouri metropolis. The only disadvantage I can think about became that we waited some distance too long to go to, and whilst we did, it turned into instead too quick.

We paired the Greek Mixed Grill and Greek Salad with a Spanish Sangria.

Traditional Greek Salad.

We settled at a unique cafe eating place for espresso.

So that we can see the ferry arriving in the harbour. We are taking the remaining boat experience!

Plateia Petritsa in Lixouri within the evening, a lot comfortable than Argostoli.

I did not expect the monument to offer mild through the etched carvings. This turned into very cool.
