Lefkada, Greece Breathtaking Porto Katsiki

Porto Katsiki is the most famous beach of Lefkada Island. She is the exhibit seaside that vacationers and traffic might frequently see on Lefkada post playing cards.

We got here here from Nydri via automobile and it was the longest force we've got ever had on this holiday. The seashore is positioned on the tip of the southwestern part of the island just before Lefkatas Cape. Although the road is highly desirable, it's miles a zigzagged power with a string of hairpin turns, passing via lush mountains seeded with rich olive tree orchards and steep coastal avenue cliffs boasting of scenic perspectives to the Ionian Sea.

There is a big parking location at the top of the Porto Katsiki cliff which prices 3 Euros per day, but you could additionally park close to the snack stand place without cost as long as you buy from them.

Access to the beach is through a one hundred-step stairwell, which I need to say, is not intimidating at all.

There aren't any sunbeds right here for hire. No cafes on the seashore as well. It is a bring your own sunbed, parasol, food and drink. However, there are snack stands at the top of the cliff. A nearby restaurant inn services free food shipping which you may set up with their neighborhood man or woman stationed at the seaside.

We have been all in agreement that the long and meandering force changed into nicely worth to get right here.
