Lefkada, Greece Nydri Harbour And Marina By Day

It is sub-tropical climate in the Netherlands. Well I must not complain after an autumn-week climate final week. It has been a loopy curler coaster summer time of spring, summer season and autumn weather, well there has been even an afternoon that it changed into 0C! And then this week it is back to summer time again in this hopelessly unpredictable weather u . S .. It can get definitely complicated however I actually have grow to be so used to the fickle weather in Northern Europe. It is part of existence right here, so it appears.

Because it's so warm and humid today, I am reminded of our summer season vacation closing month in Lefkada Island, Greece. Wow, it already felt like a long term ago! Time just flew out the window. I am not getting any more youthful, haha. Time is constantly shifting, never backwards however ahead.

In Lefkada we stayed in Nydri, inside the marina location beside the harbour. I become able to take shots of Nydri harbour and marina on several ocassions, at the same time as walking on the side road and from aboard a ship.

Nydri's Harbour is possibly the most touristy harbour in the island, along side runner-ups, Lefkada (capital) within the north and Vasiliki within the south. As early as 8AM the harbour is already open, busy preparing for the day by day sailing of the boat excursions to close by islands and beaches.

We are having a few cold Greek frappe at this bar cafe on the boulevard with the Dutch mother. On the menu cowl are pix of Aristotle Onassis, Jacqueline Kenndy-Onassis and Maria Callas. Onassis has an island in Lefkada which has been bought to a Russian oligarch, Rybolovlev.
