Last December Dutchman and I visited Groningen, nicknamed because the final froniter due to the fact it's far the northernmost metropolis of the Netherlands.
In Groningen Dutchman and I did the subsequent:
We looked at the David Bowie is... exhibition but it was offered out, helaas. So we simply seemed round and browsed in the store.
We fortunately saw a classical modern-day artwork interpretation exhibition, the Moving Mesdag, in order that turned into a consolation. This changed into simply cool to see what technology can do. Most of all, it become unfastened. I cannot say no to a loose issue, haha.
Then we bumped into a Boat show and a Christmas Market (WinterWelvaart) on the haven. We were ecstatic! Well, I turned into of direction. We had a pleasant Irish stew here on the marketplace right on the canal. The environment was adorable-- romantic yet very Chrismassy.
Afterwhich we had some bitergarnituur on the Grand Cafe Huize Maas.
We also strolled across the city for hours and had a few chocolate milk drink and mint tea at the outside terrace of the Drie Gezusters Bar on the Grote Markt (Main square). The Main square is constantly a busy and fun area. Outdoor cafe terraces are everywhere inside the town, mainly when the climate cooperates which includes in this precise December day.
