Thailand Day Trip Lunch At Pae Poh Kaew Floating Restaurant In Sam Phran

After our efficient visit to the Damnoen Saduak floating marketplace in Ratchaburi we have been whisked away with the aid of our excursion manual lower back to our ready mini van. He said we want to hurry due to the fact the experience will take an hour. Some passenger shuffling ensued and some people should transfer vans but we have been told to live positioned. Then we have been again on the road to the direction of Nakhon Pathom province.

Our vacation spot? Lunch.

My lovely so tropical coconut juice =)

Lunch was a comparable theme as our schedule inside the morning. We are consuming on the Pae Poh Kaew Floating Restaurant in Sam Phran. Are you seeing the trend here? Earlier it turned into the visit to the floating marketplace with many floating kitchens, and now, we are eating on a floating eating place =)

The floating restaurant is manufactured from timber and straw and is anchored on the Tha Chin River, a ditributary of the Chao Phraya river that flows through Bangkok. It is loosely fastened on land with plank bridges. The tour manual confirmed us our tables and we were seated with 2 timid Japanese couples.

The entire ambience of the floating restaurant scored high in my ebook. But the meals? Mwah. Because lunch become a part of the tour price we didn’t truely have the liberty to order our very own desire of food from the eating place’s menu. The meals was in truth looking ahead to us on the desk already. Well, except for the liquids. I settled for a chilled tropical coconut juice brightened through a cute red orchid and a yellow paper umbrella. We needed to pay for the drinks one after the other even though.

This is what we had for lunch:

- Omelette with candy chili sauce
- Sweet & Sour Pork with paprika, onions and pineapple
- Chop Suey mix sauteed vegetables
- Steamed white rice

They do no longer sound Thai to me at all but Chinese!

The eating place is certainly floating. We should feel it go with the flow from time to time.

The view on Tha Chin river.

My mom and moi and my cocktail style clean coconut juice.
