Thailand Part One Of The Elephant Show – "Elephant World Cup" (2015) And Some Magic

If no longer due to my mother, who is adamant on seeing the Elephant show, I wouldn’t have been here and be capable of witness the Elephant World Cup! Who might have concept elephants can play football?

The area of the Elephant show is at Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo in Sam Phran District of Nakhon-Pathom province, approximately an hour’s drive from central Bangkok.

We were here in Sam Phran inside the afternoon after a morning on the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and lunch at Pae Poh Kaew floating eating place anchored along the Tha Cin River.

The Elephant display commenced with a front act—a few magic. The one-eyed pirate magician with an assistant impersonating Elvis Presley have been pretty a laugh. For all I recognize, the duo may want to have come instantly from a Las Vegas gig.

I had low expectancies. Magic, collectively with circus and festival rides rings a bell in my memory of my childhood days. So being in my mid forty’s I did not realize what to expect. But I laughed, so I wager the magic front act was a achievement.

Then the elephants came!

The horde of elephants got here marching in and had been delivered one after the other to the public. Similar to a splendor pageant, the mild animals flaunt their first-class expertise ahead. Gyrating their thick bodies to the track. Dancing elephants everybody? Some had been twirling their heads and trunks. A few confirmed off how to kneel and pass the leg. Wow, I did now not understand they can try this. I even noticed 2 elephants swaying their butts and status on their front 2 legs with their 2 again legs up in the air! My goodness, that became some incredible acrobatic stunt, haha. You can believe the gang giggling and howling like loopy.

Then a brand new set of elephants came and this time they have been dressed as well-known soccer stars. Neymar from Brazil. Robben from Holland. Messi from Argentina. Rooney from England. Honda from Japan. Ronaldo from Portugal. They had been all present. What a great line up of the world’s best football players in a unmarried game!

The display just got better while the elephants began gambling football. The lovable animals can truely kick ball and even score. We the target market on the tribune went wild of direction. Clearly all people turned into in excessive spirits including me. Haha, I actually have never expected an elephant show like this.

I am aware of stories about animal exploitation by zoo establishments. The elephants at Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo however looked like they were well taken cared of, and that they seemed to really enjoy what they do. But then again I am not an animal expert.

So a long way the elephants right here appeared very happy, and that they certain gave a stealer of a display.

THE MAGIC FRONT ACT:

This duo was without a doubt funny, particularly the Elvis Presley inspired cloth wardrobe assistant to the magician.
