Cologne, Germany Summer At Rheinauhafen

We have moved places of work in Cologne and we are now located in the city centre that is only a few mins walking from the Dom Cathedral and Cologne Hauptbahnhof. I will not contest that the brand new workplace has a far handier location, however I will for sure be missing those cute perspectives in Rheinauhafen. I took these pictures end of August whilst temperatures had been among 25C and 30C.

If you're traveling Cologne and need to test out this place, you may easily walk right here from the town centre through just following the Rhine River going south. The Rheinauhafen side road is a pleasant location to stroll on and there are cafes and eating places inside the place as well.

Just 21 mins walking from the Cologne Cathedral.

If you opt to take the bus, take #133 at Breslauer Platz in Cologne Hauptbahnhof or Heumarkt and get off at Rheinauhafen or the Chocoloate Museum. There is underground car parking in Rheinauhafen as nicely.

Oh properly, I feel like I am last a bankruptcy of my ordinary travels to Cologne... I will genuinely omit this vicinity.

Kranhaus (Crane House), that is one of the 3 in Rheinauhafen. It is called kranhaus because it resembles a crane. The location used to be a commercial harbour of the town inside the past.

The Severinsbrucke (Severins Bridge).
